But what about Messenger collection? Recart’s Messenger Widget was the only tool for building your Messenger list, until today.

With Wheelio and Recart, you’ll build your email and Messenger list simultaneously. Your Recart Messenger list can be used just like the email list. After Wheelio subscribed Facebook users to your Recart Messenger list, you can send them automated and instant campaigns.

How to Grow Your Messenger List with Wheelio
Wheelio connects with your Recart account and displays the Recart widget on their popup, right under the CTA button.
When your customers spin the wheel, they will be automatically subscribed to your Recart Messenger list.
How to Set Up Wheelio for collecting Messenger subscribers
Here’s a step-by-step guide to the next level of ecommerce marketing:
2) Enter the Recart app (Shopify Admin – Apps – Recart), go to your Messenger menu and connect a Facebook page you’d love to use for message sending.
3) Enter the Wheelio app (Shopify Admin – Apps – Wheelio), scroll down to find the ‘Messenger Subscription’ section. Enable the Messenger Subscription.
4) The connection is live! Check out your Wheelio popup, you should see the Recart Messenger widget under your CTA button. From now, your players will also subscribe to your Recart Messenger list.
5) Now that the connection is live, go back to Recart and set up your automated campaigns. Go to Recart – Messenger – Automated Campaigns to customize and enable the campaigns you’d love to run on autopilot.

7) Make sure you subscribe as many customers as you can. Install Recart’s native Messenger Widget under your Add to Cart button. For instructions, click here.
8) Follow your list growth on Recart – Messenger Dashboard. (It refreshes every 15 minutes.)

I bet you have a bunch of questions about Messenger Marketing and the new Recart x Wheelio integration. I prepared a small FAQ for you.
Will the Messenger widget appear ‘ticked’?
There are three scenarios of widget appearance. 1) Ticked, when the customer is logged into Facebook in the same browser. If you get your traffic from Facebook, this will be the most common. 2) Unticked, when the customer isn’t logged into Facebook in the same browser. 3) Invisible. The widget won’t appear when your customer is already subscribed to your Messenger list.
Do my customers opt-in to Messenger and Email simultaneously?
Yes, this is exactly what happens. When they click on the CTA button on your Wheelio popup, they subscribe to both channels.
Can I subscribe Facebook users? Or just Messenger users?
The ‘Messenger Marketing’ term can be misleading because your target audience is all Facebook users. All Facebook users can subscribe to your Recart Messenger list. That’s a potential 2b+ Facebook users vs. the 1.2b Messenger users.
Do I have to install the Recart Messenger Widget under my Add to Cart button?
You don’t have to, but we firmly recommend it. It helps you capture the users who Wheelio misses. Click here for installation instructions.
Does Wheelio subscribes the Facebook users? Or Recart does that?
Wheelio displays Recart’s widget. The actual subscription is made by Recart.
Where can I see my Messenger subscribers?
You can follow your list growth in your Recart Messenger Dashboard.
Do I pay based on subscribers?

I can’t see my widget on the Wheelio popup, what can I do?
Please double-check that you followed all steps from #1 to #8. If the widget still doesn’t appear, please contact the Recart support.
Will Recart send Abandoned Cart Messenger automatically?
